I have been photographing actively for 5 years. My interest in photography is however instrumental - I'm fond of color, picture as the material designed for graphic modification. I like working in studio. I make photos of objects and people in the way suitable for advertisement fashion and entertainment. From time to time I make pictures to the documentary or photo report. I worked a little as a photo reporter - freelancer for the local press (Kurier Podlaski). I'm a member and founder of BGF created in October 2003 and within its activities I took part in many open air photographic sessions, and two corporate exhibitions.
I had been tempted to reach for the camera by Jan Sikorowski slides and Piotr Sikora photos. First man comes from Bialystok and was traveling intensively around the Far East in the 90's and brought a lot of fantastic slides from the trips. The second man is a musician's, fashion and advertising photographer working intensively in New York. Actually his approach to pictures or photos matches mine best and I stimulate my works in the approximated direction.
Commercial as well as advertising photography demands small corrections very often Almost each body has small defects or scratches You can " fight with it " on the way of visage or by computer's technique. Here is the example of my gentle retouch and computer correction without loosing the invoice of the body.
